Welcome to Ansoku, a visionary residential development desinged by Longpre Architecture. This innovative project marks a significant milestone in Vancouver's architectural landscape, blending the serene elegance of Japanese design, the rustic charm of Bavarian farmhouses, and the sleek functionality of mid-century modern Vancouver specials. Nestled within the heart of Vancouver, Ansoku comprises six unique units thoughtfully designed to foster a deep connection with nature. The front of the development features two duplexes, each offering private gardens or patios, transforming traditionally unused spaces into personal oases of tranquillity. Inspired by the Japanese approach to space and privacy, these areas serve as peaceful retreats from the bustling city life.

The rear of the development is home to two infill houses, where the architectural narrative takes a delightful turn. Here, the design melds the quaint allure of Bavarian farmhouses with the clean, open aesthetics of Vancouver's mid-century modern architecture. Our professional commitment to long-term durability and quality ultimately led to a difference in direction with the project owner. As a result, Longpre Architecture withdrew our schedules.
